The age of publishing news on printing press has becoming a big challenge for world and day by day many big media houses have been shut-downing their print versions and switching to the online or web portals. Having said that, the world's biggest democracy India's medias have been facing a lots of controversy regarding their content in print journalism. Though, many of the senior journalists have started their own web portals and growing like the biggest media house of the county.
As fact, many senior journalists who has shown a great influence in media sectors have come up with their own group in new media platforms which is called online media. The print house like Times of India, Hindustan Times, The Indian Express, Hindu and etc. are becoming unpopular because their content are heavily affected by the commercial adds. It means they are presenting their newspapers and online platforms with full of advertisements which has sadden the serious readers. Actually, they forgot the ratio of news and advertisement which should be principally like 60 and 40% respectively.
So, heavily depending on the advertisement for commercial media house could one of the major issues that they may have facing currently. Beside that, there are few news portals which have come of with the new concept and they are doing really well.
