Lost Aadhar Number ? Here is an idea to get it on your mobile

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAU) has now made a mandatory to Indian citizens to provide 12 digital identity number of Aadhar Card for all essential tasks like income tax returns (ITR) and buying a new mobile number.

UIDAU, which has been issuing the number,  informed that if anyone forgot their Aadhar number they can easily get it back through its website.

If you have lost your Aadhar Card or misplaced ? You can simply got to UIDAI's website and it will send Aadhar number on your registered number.
Here are the steps to receive Aadhaar card number on mobile:

Step 1: Visit official UIDAI website uidai.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Retrieve Lost UID/EID’ link.

Step 3: On the next page, make sure ‘Aadhaar Number’ is selected on the left side of the page for receiving your Aadhaar number on mobile.

Step 4: Fill in the required details like name, phone number and email address registered with Aadhaar.

Step 5: After entering these details, click on ‘Send One Time Password’ option.

Step 6: After receiving the OTP enter it in the given field and click on ‘Verify OTP’.

Here are the steps to get Aadhaar enrolment ID (EID):

The ‘Retrieve Your Lost UID/EDI’ option also enables to receive Aadhaar enrolment number. The facility can also be used by applicants who are still waiting for their Aadhaar card.

Step 1: Select ‘Enrolment Number (EID)’ option.

Step 2: Fill in the required details like name, phone number and email.

Step 3: Enter the OTP.

Step 4: Click ‘Submit’.
